For most of us, shoulder-length is the sweet spot for creating looks that feel finished but not overdone. It is the absolute best length ever because it is super flattering on most face shapes and tends to be much bouncier than longer cuts.
Of course, that does not mean you are limited in how you style it. You can still wear it up, or down, or anywhere in between. Today I am featuring the cutest, sexiest medium-length hairstyles to elevate your everyday look.

You can never go wrong with a classic. Adding some bouncy layers to a shoulder-length cut is a tried-and-true method for pumping up the volume and body.

While this style works with any hair length, I think they look insanely cute on medium-length hair.

I have chatted about this before when discussing my fave celebrity styles… but I am absolutely obsessed with the simplicity of Dua Lipa’s hair.

The wavy lob is hands down one of the best medium length hairstyles of all time… particularly when you pair it with balayage color. It is super on-trend but maintains that low-maintenance vibe… though you might need to use an iron if you don’t have natural waves.

5. Half-Up Mohawk Braid
This is basically one of my favorite new looks, and it works so well on medium length hair. It is such a fun way to wear a half-up style while adding a little extra flair.

I love twisted bangs because they are an easy way to dress up any hairstyle. However, they look so adorable when paired with a trendy bob haircut.
7. Low Ponytail with Mega Volume
If your hair isn’t super long, making a high ponytail look good can be hard. However, there are some cool tricks to help your hair look longer in a low pony.
… and even if you skip the tricks, a low ponytail just looks better on shorter cuts.

Updos are a super fun way to spice up your everyday hair. Whether you are heading to a wedding or just to the office, a braided half-updo is perfect for any occasion.
